The Carroll College Pep Band has weekly rehearsals and plays at most games. This includes football, men's and women's basketball, and even some home volleyball games.
Rehearsals are on Thursday from 6-8:00 pm and the season runs approximately from August until March. For more information you can contact Jackie Clawson.
The CC Pep Band is open to any Carroll student, faculty or staff who can play an instrument. Regular attendance is required for student seeking credit or scholarship, and is encouraged, but not required for non-credit/scholarship members. There are a limited number of school owned and maintained instruments for use by qualified members.
Instrumentation: Flute, Clarinet, Saxes, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba/Bass, Trap set, and some F horn.
Scholarships! As of 2004 a generous donor, the Myrhe Band Scholarship, has funded a semester based scholarship for those student members who meet the requirements.
College credit! You can earn one credit each semester that can count toward graduation for those students who meet the requirements. See catalogue for further explanation.
A unique experience! You get to meet other members and make new friends, keep playing your favorite instrument, and see another aspect of the Carroll community through various sporting events.
The CC Pep Band has been around officially since 1994 performing at many Carroll College sporting events and activities.
Since then, the band has been building its musical repertoire and updating equipment as needed.
