Bio

High School: James was a starter at the power forward position for Monroe High. Head Coach Brett Willie and the Bearcats tied for third in Washington states WESCO 4A division with 15 wins on the year. James averaged 19 points and 8.5 rebounds per game and was honored with 1st Team All-Conference, and 2nd team All-Area Honors. James was a Team Captain and due to his enthusiasm and level of play on the defensive end of the court, the school has changed the name of its defensive MVP award in honor of James.
