This past year Medina came off the bench and averaged 5 points in 14 minutes for SLCC and saw action in each of his teams 36 games. SLCC had an outstanding year and finished second at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Championship Tournament in Hutchinson, KS
