DIRECTIONS FOR USING THE DIGITAL CARROLL MAGAZINE
To turn the pages, you have three options:
- Click on the gray arrow block on the right and left sides of the pages to go forward or backward.
- Click on the lower outside corner of a page - it will appear to curl up, meaning it is ready to flip to the next page.
- Click on the arrow icons located below and to the right of the magazine - when you move your cursor on the arrows, an explanation box will pop up, telling you these icons mean “next page” or “previous page.”
To zoom in on a page, you have two options:
- Click on the page you are interested in.
- Click on the zoom-in icon located below and to the left of the magazine - the icon looks like a magnifying glass with a plus sign in the lens.
To zoom out, there are two more options:
- Click on the page you have zoomed in on.
- Click on the zoom-out icon below and to the left of the magazine - this icon looks like a magnifying glass with a minus sign in the lens.
A full-screen option is also available - to read the text at its largest size, just click on the icon next to the magnifying glass icon at the lower left of the magazine. When you're in full-screen mode, please note that Internet hyperlinks in the magazine won't be live. Normal mode is required for you to use hyperlinks in the magazine text.
When your cursor arrow transforms into a little hand shape, that means your cursor is on an Internet hyperlink, so if you click, you'll be taken to another webpage.
The other icons below the magazine are intuitive to use - to find out what any icon does, just move your cursor over it, and an explanation box will pop up telling you its function. A few useful ones to note are the print and save icons at the lower left below the magazine. Saving the magazine will convert it to a PDF file.
