Summer is a great time to visit Carroll - the campus is absolutely beautiful and the myriad of outdoor activities seems limitless. Fishing, camping, hiking... and Helena's downtown are all just minutes away! See for yourself just what Carroll has to offer!
During the summer, we offer tours of campus Monday through Friday at 10:00am and 1:00pm and meetings with an admission counselor.

Our Open House visit events provide you with a chance to spend the day with other prospective students as well as Carroll faculty, admission staff, and current students. You and your family will also have the opportunity to tour campus, attend information sessions, meet with a financial aid representative, eat in our dining hall and attend a class! The day typically begins at 10am and concludes at 3:30pm. Register for one of our fall open houses! Here are the dates:
Saturday, October 17 Featuring downtown experiences and involvement from CAMP (Carroll Adventure and Mountaineering Program) student leaders.
Friday, November 6 Featuring a "Winning Scholarships" session for students.
Scholarship Recognition Day: Friday, February 19
This invitation-only event is meant to recognize students awarded a Bishop Carroll, Presidential or Trustee scholarship. The day will incorporate interest sessions showcasing opportunities that many of our current students have pursued, including research, internships, outreach, and education abroad. Students will have the chance to submit an essay to our essay scholarship contest. If you have received an invitation, please RSVP by calling our office, 406-447-4384, because space is limited.
A Night on Us: Friday, March 18 - Saturday, March 19
This overnight program is a great way to truly experience the life of a Carroll student and is available for admitted high school seniors. We've got exciting activities planned for students and parents. You'll have the opportunity to meet with professors and attend a Carroll class, as well as take a campus tour and learn about your next steps. We've also got some fun planned for your evening on campus ... can't give too much away! You'll have to sing up to join the fun!

Admitted and deposited students can finalize their enrollment, meet future classmates, and win some fun prizes! High school juniors can experience Carroll first-hand while gathering information that will be helpful for beginning the application process!

Campus tours leave daily at 10:00am and 1:00pm, during the summer, led by our talented Gold Team Student Ambassadors. During the approximately one-hour tour you will explore the campus, see our residence halls, classrooms, labs, offices, chapels, library, and of course enjoy our view of the Rocky Mountains!
Have any questions about applying to Carroll? During your visit to campus you will meet with your Admission Counselor who will tell you more about Carroll, answer any of your questions, and walk you through the application process.
Ever wonder what it’s like to take a course at one of the Northwest’s best liberal arts colleges? While you’re on campus you can sit in on a class of your choice! You will get a taste of our small class sizes and see first-hand the enthusiasm our talented professors bring to the classroom. The Admission Office will help you find a class that fits your visiting schedule.
If you have any particular questions about one of our academic departments we encourage you to meet with a professor while you’re on campus. Our professors will field any questions, explain Carroll’s curriculum, and describe the many career possibilities available to a student who has earned a Carroll degree.
We understand food is an important factor when making your college decision. So, have a meal on us! During your visit our student ambassadors will take you to lunch in our dining hall. We offer a diverse, buffet-style food selection including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. While you eat feel free to ask our student ambassadors any lingering questions!
While on campus take the time to address the financial aspect of the college decision process. You’ll have the opportunity to meet with one of our Financial Aid Officers who will explain all of the scholarships, loan opportunities, and assistance packages available to incoming students.
If you have already been accepted to Carroll, you’ll have the opportunity to spend a night on campus. If you’re interested, you can request to spend a night in a residence hall Sunday-Thursday with a current Carroll student. Two weeks advance notice is required for an overnight stay.
