Whether you are coming to Carroll with just a few college courses, or you've already completed an associate's degree, we welcome you to apply to Carroll to finish your bachelor's degee.

Fall Transfer Timeline

  • Regular Decision Deadline ................ Jun 15
  • After Jan 1 - send FAFSA results to Carroll (code 002526)
  • Class registration begins in early June (Deposited student will receive an emailed Academic Questionnaire from the Department of Academic Advising.)
  • Move-in day for all new students: August 21, 2014
  • Orientation begins August 22, 2014
  • First day of classes: August 25, 2014

Transfer Scholarships

As part of the application to Carroll College, transfer students are automatically considered for one of our Transfer Scholarships. These scholarships are awarded based on an academic college GPA calculated at time of admission. The award is renewable for up to six semesters (3 years) until graduation as long as the student attends full-time and is in good academic standing.

Transfer students are automatically considered for one of our Transfer Merit Awards. These awards are based upon an academic college GPA calculated at time of admission. The award is renewable for up to six semesters (3 years) until graduation. Students must be in good academic standing and be enrolled full-time to retain the award.

NEW- California Award

St. Albert and St. Teresa Scholarships are available for students who qualify for Bishop, Presidential, and Trustee Merit level scholarships. Scholarships are available for up to 4 consecutive full-time years. Students must be in good academic standing and be enrolled full-time to retain the award. Receipt of athletic and/or activity scholarships will reduce or may cancel the St. Albert or St. Teresa Scholarships.

California residents entering Carroll as a freshman or transfer student beginning in fall 2015 qualify for a $1,000 per year award for up to 4 consecutive full-time years. Students must be in good academic standing and be enrolled full-time to retain the award. Receipt of athletic and/or activity scholarships will reduce or may cancel the California Award.

NEW- Montana Transfer Associates Award

New transfer students who have successfully completed at least two full-time semesters at a 2 year, Montana college (community, technical, tribal) and have a minimum college GPA of 2.50 qualify for a $2,000 per year award. The award is offered for up to 3 consecutive full-time years. Students must be in good academic standing and be enrolled full-time to retain the award. Receipt of athletic and/or activity scholarships will reduce or may cancel the Montana Transfer Associates Award. Eligible 2- year colleges in Montana include: Aaniiih Nakoda College, Blackfeet Community College, Chief Dull Knife College, Dawson Community College, Flathead Valley Community College, Fort Peck Community College, Gallatin College MSU, Little Bighorn College, Miles Community College, Highlands College, City College MSU Billings, Great Falls College MSU, Salish Kootenai College, Stone Child College, Helena College UM, and Missoula College UM.

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

New transfer students may be eligible for a Carroll College Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship. Transfer students selected to Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society, which recognizes outstanding academic achievement by students who attended community college are eligible for this scholarship.

Students must indicate membership in Phi Theta Kappa on their application for admission, they must be enrolled full-time and maintain good academic standing to receive this renewable scholarship. The Phi Theta Kappa award amount is $2,000 which is renewable up to 3 consecutive full-time years. Students must be in good academic standing and be enrolled full-time to retain the award.

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

New transfer students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society are eligible for an additional $2000 scholarship. Students must indicate membership in Phi Theta Kappa on their application for admission. Contact the Financial Aid Office for more details.
