Transfer Students

Carroll's academic reputation, excellent faculty, personal attention and affordability create an environment for success. Whether you are coming to Carroll with just a few college courses, or you've already completed an associate's degree, we welcome you to apply to Carroll to finish your bachelor's degee.

Transfer Merit-Scholarships

As part of the application to Carroll College, transfer students are automatically considered for one of our Transfer Scholarships. These scholarships are awarded based on an academic college GPA calculated at time of admission. The award is renewable for up to six semesters (3 years) until graduation as long as the student attends full-time and is in good academic standing.

Fall Transfer Timeline

  • Regular Decision Deadline ................ Jun 15
  • After Jan 1 - send FAFSA results to Carroll (code 002526)
  • Class registration begins in early June (Deposited student will receive an emailed Academic Questionnaire from the Department of Academic Advising.)
  • Move-in day for all new students: August 21, 2014
  • Orientation begins August 22, 2014
  • First day of classes: August 25, 2014

Although the regular decision deadline has passed, it's not too late to apply to Carroll for the fall semester!

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

New transfer students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society are eligible for an additional $2000 scholarship. Students must indicate membership in Phi Theta Kappa on their application for admission. Contact the Financial Aid Office for more details.
