HEADLINES: UM's ROTC Program Among The Best

For those who don't know, Carroll College Army ROTC's Saints Company is a part of the University of Montana Army ROTC program. U of M's Grizzly Battalion includes all of the cadets on the University of Montana campus in Missoula, as well as the cadets on Carroll's campus in Helena. Recently, the University of Montana's ROTC was recognized as the #5 ranked ROTC program in the nation, meaning that Carroll is too!
This link is to an article which gives our Cadet's some much deserved recognition...they have worked hard!

WARRIOR FORGE

Two Saints Company cadets will attend the Leadership Development and Assessment Course (LDAC) at Fort Lewis, Washington, during summer 2008.

Cadets Ben Barille and Ken Carlson will complete the demanding training course, which is justifiably called "Warrior Forge". The month-long course begins with an Army Physical Fitness Test and includes a variety of physically and emotionally challenging training events including leading squads and platoons on simulated combat missions.

Senior cadets Patrick Beddow, Alex Frei, and Marieke Min completed LDAC this past summer 2007, with great success. Congratulation cadets, and good luck in your last year!
