Business Administration at Carroll College

The Business Administration major has been designed to expose students to both business practice and theory. The program presents an integrative approach to business while allowing students to personalize their education by choosing from several areas of concentration: economics, international business, management, marketing, or sports management. These options provide students with the versatility to accomplish their personal career goals while preparing for the diverse needs of employers. Students may also choose to focus on developing their own entrpreneurial abilities through Enactus or the Entrepreneur in Residence program, enhance their international business skills and cultural awareness through study abroad opportunities, or intern with area businesses.

Throughout the Business Administration program, students engage in real-life learning projects with qualified and experienced faculty. The Department of Business also offers majors in Accounting and Finance. You may combine any of these majors or add minors from the Department of Business, or add majors and minors from other departments to individualize your education.

Business Students

Life After Graduation

With a Business Administration major grounded in a liberal arts education, students develop the skills employers value: strong communication abilities, analytical and reasoning skills, and the knowledge to make ethical, value-based decisions.

The Business Administration major is designed to ensure students are prepared for entry directly into the workforce or for acceptance into graduate school. The Carroll College Career Center is available to assist students with securing internships, developing resume writing and interviewing skills, and researching employers.
