Jazz Band (MUS 231-232) is dedicated to building a repertoire of jazz standards and developing skills in jazz improvisation. The band performs each semester for events both on and off campus. Jazz Band is offered for one credit and is open by audition to students who have experience playing an instrument, including flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, guitar, bass, piano, and drums.
