Valuable Experience

Carroll students successfully publish a literary journal, a photo annual, and 14 issues of the campus newspaper each year. In the process, they gain valuable experience as writers, researchers, and editors. Students also expand their skills off campus through internships at private businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies.

Faculty Excellence

Professor Ron Stottlemyer, Languages and Literature Department chair, attended the Northern Plains Early British Literature Conference at Concordia College in Minnesota this spring. There, he delivered a paper on his original research entitled, “The Poetics of Mystical Space: Writing the Self in Julian of Norwich’s Revelation of Divine Love.”

Authors and Special Guests

Classes at Carroll frequently have authors and experts as special guests.
