2014-15 ACADEMIC MERIT AWARDS

All first year admitted students to Carroll College are automatically consdidered for academic merit awards based on secondary school reports and SAT or ACT exam results.  International students who would like to be considered for academic merit awards must submit official SAT or ACT exam results.   Transfer students are considered for merit awards based upon eligible transfer coursework from an accredited institution.  ESL courses do not factor into transfer GPA calculations for transfer merit awards.

FIRST YEAR MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS

  • Bishop Carroll:  $16,000
  • Presidential Scholarship $14,000
  • Trustee Scholarship $13,000
  • All Saints  Scholarship $11,000
  • Founders Scholarship $8,000

To be eligible, students must have graduated from an accredited secondary school, completed less than 1 full year of university and attend Carroll full-time (12 or more credit hours per semester).

TRANSFER STUDENT MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS

  • Presidential Scholarship $12,000 GPA = 3.5
  • Trustee Scholarship $10,000  GPA = 3.0-3.49
  • All Saints Scholarship $8,000 GPA = 2.5-2.99

Early Action I    1 November
Regular Decision and Scholarship Priority Consideration 15 February
Rolling Admissions Deadline 1 May (scholarship priority deadline is 15 Feb)
 
Spring Semster (January - May)
