International Students Summer Program

Carroll College offers a unique program for international students for four weeks during July and August. Students take classes in English, economics, government and history. In addition, social activities are organized, making the summer program a wonderful Montana experience. Carroll College students assist with the summer program.

The curriculum includes economics/ international economics, United States government and Montana history. Carroll professors who have experience teaching international students teach all classes.

Spend a Day with a Local Family

Summer students are invited to spend a day with a local Helena family. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience Montana culture through the lives of its people and to share in the intercultural exchange of stories and customs.

Travel to Yellowstone National Park

A highlight of the Summer Program is a weekend visit to Yellowstone National Park. Students have an opportunity to see the famous Old Faithful Geyser, hike to numerous hot springs, and photograph a variety of wildlife that lives in the Park, including bison, elk, bighorn sheep, deer and moose. These excursions are always a highlight of students’ stay in Montana. Each year we eagerly look forward to our short-term Carroll students.
