The Business of Eco Tourism in the Amazon, lead by Beth Schoyen

  • Recommended Credits: 3 credits. Credit (s) can be applied to BA, global diversity, and other majors as pre-arranged.
  • Tour Highlights: Visit a zone of rich eco diversity, stay in a lodge in the Peruvian Amazon jungle. Excursions into the jungle to see a wide diversity of flora and fauna including pink dolphins, piranhas, monkeys, and tropical birds. Visit schools, local villages, experience jungle survival training, local clinics and visit with a local shaman..

  • Tour Highlights: Transportation Pass in Milan, museum Pass in Florence. The study of some of the most influential Italian philosophers, such as Machiavelli, Galileo & Gramsci in context, and the relationship of their ideas with the history and the art of the time.
